How to Make Your Own Lash Cards

Hey Everyone :-) In my September 2011 Birchbox I received a sample of some Lash Cards. I though these were a great idea for protecting your eye makeup when you really want to wiggle that mascara into your lashes. These lash cards sell for $4.99 for a pack of 10, which equals out to 50cents a lash card- and they are for one time use. This is way too expensive for my taste, so I thought... why not make my own??? I purchased a double package of playing cards at the Dollar Tree for $1(duh), which means that I was able to get 104 total lash cards for $1!!! This makes each lash card less than 1 cent.
Follow these steps to make your very own lash cards :
Purchase a deck of playing cards

Trace your design on the playing cards- These playing cards had a beautiful basic design on the backs.

Cut out the cards and enjoy!

And here is the Stencil/outline for you to follow if you do not have your own lash card to use as a guideline. This photo is of an average sized playing card

Have a BEAUTIFUL Day

Raspberry Picking in Oak Glen

Fall is just around the corner and I am just about ready for scarves and coats.  This California weather has a mind of its own though and summer tends to linger around for quite some time.  One of our favorite activities is to go raspberry picking at the end of the summer.  We drive about an hour out side of our city and go to Oak Glen for a breath of fresh air and of course oodles of beautiful ripe raspberries.  Enjoy our adventures
